December 2007 Upgrade and Release Notes
NOTE:
This notice applies if you are scheduling WebEx meetings via either
www.communiqueconferencing.com or www.ccimeet.com.
The
WebEx web conferencing service will be upgraded on December 2,
2007. Your username and password will remain the same unless your
existing password is less than 6 characters. The primary change
is the online interface to schedule meetings once you login. While
it might take a little while to get used to the new interface,
we hope that the enhancements including; saving meeting templates,
outlook integration and one-click meeting options help ease the
process of scheduling and conducting WebEx meetings.

Scheduling Enhancements
- One-Click
Meeting Lets you set up a meeting that you can quickly
start at any time, as often as you want, by clicking a One-Click
Meeting shortcut on your computer.
- Schedule
a Meeting Wizard - Lets you quickly and easily schedule an online
meeting.

Calendar - Lets attendees quickly locate, obtain information
about, and join meetings on your WebEx website.

Templates - You can save time by saving a template that includes
the list of attendees you want to invite, a presentation you
want to show before the meeting starts, and other options you
have used in a previous meetings and saved as a template.

Outlook Integration - Schedule and launch WebEx meetings directly
from Microsoft Outlook.

In-Meeting Enhancements
- Uploaded
PowerPoint presentations now preserve text entered in the Notes
field on your slides. A presenter can reference the notes in a
pop-up window that the audience can't see. This can eliminate
shuffling papers and having to split focus between the screen
and your desk.

You
can create custom surveys that are automatically displayed for
attendees when an event ends. Surveys can include scores or
weights on different answers to help prioritize leads. Results
are included in attendance reports, automatically associated
with the respondent information.

QuickStart
- For first-time hosts and presenters, QuickStart is a visual
and descriptive guide to effective meetings. QuickStart provides
one-click, easy access to the most commonly used features in
a meeting, such as Presenting a Document, Sharing an Application,
and Sharing Your Desktop.
